One Of The Nicest Folks EVER!

New Year's Eve in Pasadena - Rose Parade with the one and only Legendary, Mr. Stan Chambers of KTLA news, he is one of the nicest people that I've ever met in my life. — with Adrienne, William and Stan Chambers.

Happy Stan Chamber’s Day and Happy Belated Birthday Mr. Chambers! I have been fortunate to have known Mr. Chambers since grade school. Not only is he a top notch journalist who was on our local news station KTLA for 63 years, he is one of the nicest men in the world. What I really admired about Mr. Chambers is that is he an incredible family man who has a fabulous family. He and his first wife were always so wonderful to me. My parents had passed away when I was very young and by the time I was 5, my amazing Grandmother raised me. But when I was growing up, particularly in the elementary School that I went to, everyone had both parents and usually numerous siblings, and if I recall correctly the Chambers held the record on # of siblings even though I know they had some competition. Although I had a much older brother, I pretty much grew up as an only child. When I would come over to babysit, or for an event they would put on for our class, Mr. and Mrs. Chambers always made me feel so welcome, so cared for and really interested in what I had to say. Mrs. Chambers would give me wonderful advice. I just adored both of them and their family. Through the years, Mr. Chambers and I would continue to see each other out and about throughout the City when he was reporting or at events. He took time to counsel me when I was thinking about pursuing a career in broadcasting as I went to talk to him in his KTLA office. Then when I asked him to speak at my organization the Burbank Jaycees, when I was on the Board many years ago, as hectic as he was, he didn’t hesitate and said yes. He was one of the most interesting and popular guest speakers we ever had, it was a packed house with standing room only. I know he also continues to do so much for the community and guides students in their journeys. So on Stan Chambers Day, I want to say thank you to Mr. Chambers for not only making my life better, but also for all his dedication to the City of Los Angeles through his excellence in journalism and his service to the community making Los Angeles a better place!
